ABOUT DRAGON OIL

Dragon Oil is an international oil and gas company with an established history and strong track record across the Middle East, North Africa and Caspian regions. Dragon Oil has a full cycle portfolio with a production base of over 140 thousand bopd, and a resource base of over 1 billion boe, spanning exploration, development and producing assets across Egypt, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Algeria and Afghanistan. The key assets in our portfolio include the Cheleken Contract Area, offshore Turkmenistan, which we have successfully developed since 2000, the recently acquired GUPCO assets in Egypt and Block 9 in Iraq, which contains early production from a significant discovery.

Over the past decade, Dragon Oil has evolved from a one-asset company in Turkmenistan, into a global operator across various aspects of the energy sector’s value chain.

Dragon Oil’s long-term strategy is to boost production to 300 thousand boepd by 2026 through organic and inorganic growth. The recent acquisition of GUPCO’s assets in Egypt is an example of our commitment to our long-term growth strategy and our team continues to look for material assets to add to our portfolio.

Dragon Oil is an organization that has its values deeply embedded in the practice of sustainability. Our belief comes from our commitment to carefully explore and develop oil and gas resources, by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. We strive for continuous improvement to become a pioneering and reliable energy partner, by delivering outstanding, sustainable and integrated energy solutions and at the same time, contributing to the social, economic and environmental development of the countries we operate in.

Our commitment encompasses not just the environmental footprint we leave, but also our long-term engagement with partners, to enable us to bring a positive and economically sustainable change.

Alongside our development and production record, Dragon Oil is also proud of its active Corporate Social Responsibility programs. In Turkmenistan, we undertake projects which help improve the standard of living of Hazar citizens, with a focus on health and education. Our most notable contributions are the construction of the Hazar hospital and refurbishment of the Hazar polyclinic, schools and kindergartens.

In Egypt, our CSR activities are coordinated through GUPCO, who are our asset operator. GUPCO contributes in improving the infrastructure of the communities near Ras Shukair base and Ras Gharib near the Red Sea. Plans to rehabilitate and refurbish schools and clinics in these localities are under discussion with local authorities.
